Yes everyday lunch time
Pretty cheap, good dim sum. Primarily Chinese patrons.
I was just having some lunch today. I ordered egg rolls and seafood. I paid her 20 bucks. After I finished eating and started to pay my food bill. It was $17.92 and I didn't have enough money nor my debit cards have enough. I have negative balance. I knew I shouldn't have gone to that restaurant. Never again.
The boss is so nice
It looks a bit run down but the food is good
Love the dim sum here. Serving late in the afternoon, and inexpensive.
My family and I love this restaurant. Great good, and great service. My mom is Singaporean Chinese and she rates the food here highly.
One of the few remaining authentic Cantonese Chinese food restaurants in Oakland and San Francisco. Very reasonable prices. Fresh fish, shrimp, lobster and crab dishes.
Food I good. Waiters is nice to talk
I have come here for years. Large portions, dim sum and fresh great tasting food
Really good dim sum. The standard offerings and lots of non standard. Best to go with a group so you can try more plates!
The food here is very delicious. I come here with my family all the time.
One of Chinatown best kept secret dim sum place is hidden on corner of 7th/Webster street. Service is average, but if your relative passes out red envelope, you'll be remembered for life. Food is fresh and decent especially when it comes to poultry. Best to bring someone that speaks mandarin or cantonese or else you'll be pass up for others that do speak the language. Reservations are accepted within 48hrs.
Okay dim sum. It's cheap and tastes good. . Gets busy during lunch time so prepare for wait. Waiters not very attentive, but that's normal. Just wave around until you get someone's attention.
They're open for takeout orders only temporarily. The food is fantastic and the quantity is great. Highly recommend their Chow Mien, tofu, Steamed Rice and dumplings.
Good quality dim sum at a low price
Excellent Dim Sum, always fresh!
My family's favorite Dim Sum place in SF.Good price.Good food.Parking can be a little tricky but once you are there you have same space to move around.Good for very large parties.
Words fail me...
I've been here multiple times, has an adequate menu, kids will love at least one of the things on the menu ;)Has a great atmosphere, waiters can understand English. All dishes contain fresh tasting ingredients.Loved it, would go here many more times.
I am sensitive to salt and expressed this to the waitress, who spoke little English, but nodded her her understanding and followed through. Surprisingly everything came out perfectly prepared and super tasty. I used all the sauces that accompanied the dishes and found them delicious. We ordered the pot stickers which were the best that I've ever had.... and very cleanly(not greasy) prepared... and super tasty. We also had the fried rice, which was average, but worked well with the other two dishes.... Fresh Steamed Fish with Ginger.... very delicately prepared...just perfect and the green beans with garlic.. maybe my favorite of the evening. The restaurant is clean, but not showy. The service was friendly and excellent.
The food is always well prepared and delightful, staff members gives awesome service. I liked how neat it is and vibes. Highly recommended.
Great food and high energy.
Excellent food. They served free soup beforehand and free warm red bean dessert soup after meal. the three dishes we ordered for myself and my husband were plentiful and delicious and we had plenty for take home
Went Friday at 1:30pm. Was seated immediately. Servers were nice but didn't speak English. Showed us various things on the dim sum cart. Picked 8 small things and total came out to be about $33 with tax. Loved the pineapple bun, meatball and the spare rib. Free hot tea was great since it was cold outside.
I been coming here for 3 yearsand is always delicious.
Great food, very clean, classy atmosphere, nice waitresses.
Dim sum wrappers were just mooshy and falling apart. Only one card going around, and only about four items on it. Just not a good dim sum place. Staff ended up being friendly enough to replace some of the more poorly prepared dishes.
I love their dim sum!!
Good dim sum for reasonable price.
Very good food!
Cool spot to dine at
Awesome dimsum and environment. Me and my father make this a must every Sunday after our trip to the flea market.
Excellent authentic Chinese food with very reasonable prices. Gourmet Delight indeed.
It is a cheap and cheerful place. The staffs are pretty friendly and they have traditional dim sum carts pushing around. The space is a bit crowded but the food is yummy. Definitely would go again.
Portion are small but the foods taste good
Can't believe this place is averaging 4 stars. Customer service is surly at best, at times they're just downright rude. If you know the owners they will seat you right away while others just wait. And if you sit too long, they will try to rush you out so they can turn over the table. The dim sum is average at best and they always run out of items. If you special order, expect a long wait. We tried dinner several times and it's just not very good. Always check your bill, one reason we stopped going is the bill is usually wrong.
This place gets really packed on weekend mornings. It has pretty decent dim sum at good prices. Some things are interesting because it's bigger than normal like the siu mai and hagao. The ladies walk around with carts or trays and you choose what you like.
How in the world does this place get 4 stars? Like I yap on and on about how service is not a priority for me but dang this place has got to be one of the worst places I've been to in terms of service and cleaniess. But aside from all that, the food felt unfresh and just tasted bad
The Dim Sum was awesome! So much delicious food at a very reasonable price. We went at around 10:30 am on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. My girlfriend and I opted to share a large table with other patrons so we didn't have to wait. The service was fast and friendly, we got a variety of great dishes right off the bat. There is a language barrier but this never bothers me. The food was amazing and that's what matters! I highly recommend this place!
Would recommend to anyone . Love the lobster here . Great prices . First time here and would definitely come back , service is great . Love how friendly the staff is
Great dim sum. Can get kind of loud but dishes are tasty and made well.
This is a locals dim sum restaurant. The food is good, and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is loud and busy. At times, when we are there, we have had to share a table with other diners for lunch. The location of the restaurant is great for use because it is in the center of Chinatown, and it makes it easier to do some shopping at the same time. The food is fine, and filling, but a gourmet treat it is not - as this Chinatown is not a tourist destination, like Chinatown San Francisco, the food caters more toward the local population. At times, it can become busy and a wait for a table can take patience!
Awesome authentic dim sum.
I travel at least once a month from Pinole to eat at this restaurant.
It is one of the restaurants located in Oakland Chinatown, with the best food, it tastes good, the restaurant is spacious, at lunch time you have to wait longer to have a table. It has seafood, the fish, crabs, lobsters are alive in the water tanks in sight are all. It's hard to find parking, but it's worth it.
There may be fancier dim sum places with prices to match but we always go to Gourmet Delight first. Wonderful and authentic food, low price, simple setting, fast and kind service, just solid all around. They have all of your delicious dim sum favorites here, but they do a few things better than anyone, my favorite of which is the eggplant.
Love the food and the experience I will be back
Great dimsum, good prices. There's usually a short wait for lunch.
Just no. The stuff were bad.
I got food poisoning from undercooked chicken, rude service from a waitress, and the establishment is dirty. Save yourself a stomachache and a headache by skipping on this location completely.
